First MTI Graduation in Zambia!

Tuesday night we celebrated our first MTI Graduation ceremony in Zambia. Classes began exactly six months earlier. We met twice weekly only taking a couple weeks off for moving. Notice any familiar faces?

(Left to Right) Bridget, Augustine, Steven, Jason, Shauna, Carlin, and Isata
Isata, Shauna, Carlin, and Steven attended every class, took notes, asked great questions, and developed close relationships with Jesus. It's been awesome to watch them grow.
Augustine and Bridget received their diplomas proudly. I designed them for Zambian graduates. It's amazing how priceless a diploma recognizing accomplishments is to our Zambian friends.

I created "Certificates of Participation" for the kids since they can not complete the practicum skills required for graduation at this time.

You can't tell by the photos that the lighting in the room is non-existent. What little we have is spillover from the dining area. So pictures aren't real great and note taking rather difficult but these are all minor inconveniences. We topped the evening off with ice cream and fresh bananas. Mmmmmm good!

Blessings and joy,
Beckie
